Dianne, Jonathan’s wife, also took the opportunity of recording every-day life in Lesotho and continued the habit when she moved to the UK.

 In 1990 Jonathan was the prize-winner of the coveted Practical Photography Annual “Photogirl Competition” with his portfolio of an amateur model. Shortly afterwards, Dianne and Jonathan began working professionally as a team, producing a brochure for a clothing manufacturer and shortly afterwards their first professional wedding album.

Throughout the years they have continued to study their craft and are members of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. People skills, they find, come naturally!

Our Approach to Photographing your Special Day

 Jonathan and Dianne believe that the best photographs of people are created when they are happy and relaxed, and therefore they aim to take the time to build a rapport with clients allowing them to relax and enjoy the photography.

 At weddings, they work quickly with a relaxed approach allowing you plenty of time to mingle with your guests and to celebrate your Special Day.  The aim is to capture both the emotion and the details of your day, allowing events to unfold with minimum of direction.  Jonathan will capture these special moments in a way which will bring a smile to your face when, in future, the pictures stir those special memories.

 Working with Jonathan on the day to pick up the finer details, Dianne takes responsibility for designing and producing the wedding album and framed portraits.

 During Portraiture or Social Sessions, whether on location or in your own home, they always allow enough time for you to get to know them so that you are comfortable and relaxed. Jonathan and Dianne want you to enjoy the session.

 Based in the Cheshire area within easy access of the national motorway network, Jonathan and Dianne work primarily in Cheshire and Manchester but are happy to travel.  Recently they have photographed international weddings in California, Amsterdam and The Hague.
